PM greets nation on Parsi new year

New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Saturday greeted the nation on the occasion of Navroz, the Parsi new year.
Marking the first day of spring, Navroz symbolises renewal and brings the message of hope and celebration.
"The festival is a living symbol of the rich diversity and the vibrant composite culture of India," the prime minister said in a statement.
It also reinforces the values of peace and religious harmony in India, he added.
