BANGALORE: In order to explore opportunities for co-operation in manufacturing, financial services and information and communication technologies (ICT), the apex association for IT industry Nasscom would lead a delegation of 25 IT companies to Japan to participate in Indo-Japan IT summit 2005, starting from October 6.
Over 50 Japanese companies keen to work with Indian companies are participating in the summit, Nasscom said in a statement. According to the exports figures of 2003-04, Asia, Oceania and West Asia accounted 7.4% of Indian IT and ITES exports compared to 69.4% to America and 22.6% to Europe.
The summit would highlight the opportunity that both the country has and how they can work together to maximize its IT potential.
