Open-Silicon announces Bhantnagar as GM

Open-Silicon, Inc., a fabless ASIC company that provides a predictable, reliable and cost effective alternative to traditional chip design and supply chain models, today announced the appointment of Hitesh Bhatnagar as general manager of Open-Silicon India. Bhatnagar brings 28 years of professional experience with some of the leading multi-national corporations in India to Open-Silicon. Prior to joining Open-Silicon, Bhatnagar served as the president and managing director of Logic Vision India Pvt. Limited, Bangalore. Bhatnagar has held senior positions in design and manufacturing in some of India’s largest companies, including Aspect Development / i2 Technologies India, Philips India, Tata Telecom and AT&T/Lucent Technologies. “I am pleased to welcome Hitesh to Open-Silicon’s management team,” said Naveed Sherwani, president and CEO of Open-Silicon. “Open-Silicon has built a world-class Design Center Unit (DCU) in Bangalore and we now plan to add equally world-class marketing, sales support, IP and manufacturing operations in India.
