Online govt services at India.gov.in

NEW DELHI: In order to provide an easy and efficient access service, with a citizen perspective, to all government information and services on a single platform, the Minister for Communications and Information Technology Dayanidhi Maran has launched a national portal india.gov.in. The portal will act as a gateway to online government services. It can be customized on the basis of visitors' areas of interest and profile. The site has been developed by the National Informatics Center (NIC) and has sections on citizens, business, overseas, government, know India and sectors.
