ONE DAY NPTEL WORKSHOP FOR IIT MADRAS ALUMNI WHO ARE FACULTY

NPTEL (NATIONAL PROGRAMME FOR TECHNOLOGY ENHANCED LEARNING) is the ambitious effort to enhance the quality of engineering education in India by developing curriculum based video and web courses.

IITMAA and NPTEL are hosting a one workshop to look at ways to utilize NPTEL material in higher education for effective and efficient learning.

The IIT Madras Alumni Association (IITMAA) has partnered with the “National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning” (NPTEL) and is organizing a one day workshop in the IITM Campus on Dec 12, 2009 targeted at Engineering college faculty. NPTEL is an ambitious effort to enhance the quality of engineering education in India by developing curriculum based video and web courses.

Did you know that more than 110 IIT courses are already on the web? (Read more on the website: http://nptel.iitm.ac.in)

The one day workshop is aimed at making the whole NPTEL effort more efficient and effective for the students.
