Numerical Technologies CEO resigns, Naren Gupta steps in

SAN JOSE: Numerical Technologies Inc, which makes equipment to manufacture integrated circuits, has said that President and Chief Executive Officer Larry Hollatz has resigned. Dr. Naren Gupta, an advisor to the company since its inception and a member of the board of directors, is now interim president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. The company said it has begun a search for a new president and chief executive. Previously, Gupta co-founded software company Integrated Systems Inc. in 1980 and served as its president and chief executive officer until 1994.
