Nucleus Software's revenue shoots 49.4 percent in 2006-07

New Delhi: Nucleus Software Exports, one of India's leading software development companies, Monday announced a 49.4 percent increase in its revenues at 2.21 billion ($53.8 million) for fiscal 2006-07. The company's net profit after tax stood at 551 million, up 48.73 percent compared to the previous year. "Our robust organic growth along with continued product leadership across geographies has further strengthened our position in a competitive environment," said Vishnu R. Dusad, CEO and managing director, Nucleus Software. During the year, the company bagged 22 new product orders and added 21 new customers. It also added 464 employees, both nationally and overseas, and reached a total global staff base of 1,532. It has plans to invest 200 million in building a new complex within its existing campus in Noida, near Delhi.
