Now technology to decide your driving skills

Ahmedabad: Your driving skills are now going to be tested by a software. The city of Ahmedabad is following the routes of Bangalore and is set to lay a digital track to conduct driving tests for those who seek to get a driving license. The track is expected to come up by the end of the year.
J P Gupta, Transport Commissioner, Gujarat announced the plan and added that the project will be rolled out on a trial basis in Ahmedabad.
"The digital track will have sensors to detect the movement of the two-wheeler or four-wheeler under examination. The sensor tracks will keep a close watch on the people attempting to form the number '8' pattern while driving. In case they make mistakes or falter, it will be easily seen with the help of the sensor track," said Gupta.
The fully automated system will eliminate the chance of human error while passing one in the driving test, thus ensuring better drivers on the road and more road safety.
