Bangalore: Kotak securities launches its Mobile Stock Trade application for mobile users. Mobile Stock Trade application is developed by Market Simplified, a mobile strategy partner company which caters brokerages and financial services companies. The tool enables the customers of kotak to get the best interface tools to trade. It provides trades on the go, check their portfolio and account details, and get live streaming data of market updates, indices updates, stock quotes and much more to its existing customers. However a non customer has certain limitations. They can get streaming data, make virtual portfolio and watch lists. Since the world has become more and more handsets oriented which has taken the shape of small hand held computers, applications are the only best ways to invoke excitement among the customers. The Executive Vice President of kotak Gopkumar said the most unique thing about this application is that not only its existing customers can make use of it any time but it also facilitates guest customers who can experience the whole gamut. No charges are made and anyone can download from the internet and get into actual market trading. The application provides expert's advice to layman and new entrants in the markets. Gopkumar is confident that this application will be a success since it works brilliantly in smart Phones because of its large format .It complements the Smartphones adequately. And the present aura talks only of smartphones and tablets. As far as the distribution is concern kotak has been working with many mobile stores like Blackberry, Nokia, Samsung in order to get listed. Apart from it the company is also working with the telephone operators to make use of airtel live, Vodaphone for its distribution. Also a technology called bluecasting will also be used to get the distribution right. The most important thing is how well in works in different handsets. These handsets have four platforms. So far the application works really well in Blackberry platform and Java Platform. For android and windows soon it will be launched by the end of this month. This move also aims to increase penetration in the trading sector in the tier II cities and towns which remains unexplored by such application till now.
