London: An ice cream made from camel milk, popular in the Middle East and touted as being lower in fat, will debut here next month. At four pounds a scoop, the dessert will go on sale at a London food show. It is the brainchild of British firm Ginger's Comfort Emporium that already sells "experimental" flavours of standard ice cream, The Sun reported Monday. The camel milk ice creams contain 10 times more iron than those from cows' milk and five times the level of B vitamins, which are vital for healthy growth. The milk will be sourced from Europe's only camel dairy in Holland, according to the newspaper.
