Now, A Book on Pakistan's Child Prodigy

Islamabad: Pakistan will bring out a book on Arfa Karim who in 2004 became the world's youngest Microsoft certified professional at age nine. She died Jan 14. Minister for Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan Saturday said Arfa Karim was a trendsetter and role model for youth of the country. Talking to the media in Lahore, she said Arfa had introduced a positive and beautiful image of Pakistan across the world. She said that a documentary on Arfa Karim would be broadcast on Pakistan Television and Directorate of Film and Publishing would publish a book to pay homage to world's youngest IT specialist, reported Associated Press of Pakistan. Arfa Karim Randhawa died following complications resulting from an epileptic stroke. She was 16.
