Yogeshwar Dutt, India’s Medaler
Yogeshwar Dutt is the Indian wrestler who won the bronze medal at the 2012 London Olympics in the men’s 60 kg freestyle wrestling. He is one of the six champions who won medals this year for India at the Olympics, and one of the four Indian Olympians to win Bronze. India did win more number of medals this year at the Olympics compared to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing where it received only three medals. However, in Beijing India did score one Gold medal unlike at London where it only earned two Silver and four Bronze medals. 

Chelsea Wining Champions League
Chelsea won the Championship League in 2012 and made it to the final after the unlikely win over Napoli and with Barcelona and Benfica in the knockout rounds. Chelsea won against the Bayern Munich of Germany at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. The win was sensational which even made Roman Abramovich smile, the Russian billionaire who owns Chelsea since 2003. Roberto di Matteo, the interim manager said, “We just had to do the best with what we had.” He led Chelsea to win a Champions league and FA Cup within two and a half months of being in charge after the infamous sacking of Andre-Vilas Boas, the former Chelsea manger.
