Nokia to open operation center in India

NEW DELHI: Top mobile firm Nokia said it would open a global networks operation center in India by the end of the year. Nokia said the center would perform network operation tasks for some operators in the Asian Pacific region, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The Finnish firm said the center would employ 100 people, but did not say where it would be located. Nokia is already building a unit in the southern port city of Chennai.
