Nivio to take on Google with nDrive

New Delhi: To go head-on-head with Google's much speculated GDrive storage service, Nivio will unveil nDrive a user intuitive tool that facilitates transfer of files between a local computer and the Nivio online desktop. The nDrive gives users 5 GBs of storage with the ability to buy more on a pay-per-use basis. nDrive, which will be available to users as early as mid February, has a 'drag and drop' function facilitates transferring of files between a computer and Nivio's desktop through dragging the items from one to the other. The company has already unveiled NivioLite Free, a free online storage and backup facility, which gives 1GB of storage capacity for every user with the option to extend on a pay-per-use basis. Nivio's CEO Sachin Duggal said, "With the nDrive and NivioLite offerings, there's no need for USB sticks or portable hard drives. All your files, photos, music or any data from any computer can be backed-up and can be retrieved whenever it's needed."
