Nirvana gets $6 m in 2nd funding

BANGALORE: Nirvana Business Solutions, the BPO which has stellar names as investors and advisors on Tuesday said it has received an additional $6 million in its second round of funding from existing and new investors. Nirvana is expecting revenues of $30 million in calendar year 2004 and $50 million in 2005. It provides finance and accounting transaction support and customer care solutions from its centre in Bangalore. The company led by Mr Raj Kondur, previously co-founder of ChrysCapital has Mr Manab Bose, a board member and head of HR at Tata Sons in its management team. Its investors and advisors include Mr Rajat Gupta, ex-managing partner of McKinsey, Mr Richard Fisher, former chairman of Morgan Stanley and Mr Rana Talwar, former CEO of Standard Chartered. Nirvana also announced the addition of Mr Chuck Haven, who previously was with c3i, a large US-based tech support company, in its management team.
