New ERP solution for foundries by TVS Infotech

Coimbatore: TVS Infotech has come up with a new ERP solution called 'SmartFoundry'. The solution is targeted to the mid-market segment foundries, reports L.N.Revathy of The Business Line.
The company has already exhibited the SmartFoundry solution in four Foundry Conclaves so far and has met with positive responses from the customers.
Speaking about the solution, Hanumantha Rao, Director, SAP Services and Alliances, TVSi said, "The solution helps foundries jumpstart their ERP initiative and can get live in 3-4 months. Some of the pain points that foundries typically face are - there is not much automation in terms of technology such as managing inventory, frequent changes to moulds and yield monitoring and so on. SmartFoundry helps address these challenges. The solution is suited for sand casting, investment casting and centrifugal casting."
Rao also said that Indian foundries require their visibility to improve while being reliable and responsive. They should as well be flexible within operations, added Rao.The domain expertise of TVS Infotech in foundry processes leads them to plan, build and run operations for the SMB space.
The company has plans to expand its solution and implement it across geographies and new markets.
