Bangalore: NetSuite and Wipro have officially announced a partnership intended to take cloud ERP into larger enterprises.ERP is a more complicated endeavor even in software as service (SaaS) deployments than CRM and other enterprise application segments.
Wipro will implement NetSuite in the Asia Pacific market and later expand into North America, under this deal. Wipro is looking to bet out system integrator ground in cloud computing and SaaS.
"The company is looking to add another 100 partners, resellers and systems integration. These partners would handle implementations and garner a revenue split on services going forward," said, NetSuite CEO Zach Nelson. He noted that the channel is critical for future growth. Nelson acknowledged that there is more complexity with an ERP implementation."
