NetScout expands European sales alliances

WESTFORD: NetScout Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: NTCT), a provider of network performance management solutions, Wednesday announced that it has signed new agreements with Dimension Data UK and Dimension Data Germany AG & Co., to provide its nGenius products within the United Kingdom and Germany respectively. Both companies are wholly owned subsidiaries of Dimension Data Holdings (plc) (LSE: DDT), a global technology company. The agreements will enhance opportunity for NetScout in the company's largest European markets. Plans include joint sales and marketing activities aimed at delivering the nGenius Performance Management System to enterprise and government customers. Initial results of these efforts include a major sale of the nGenius solution to a large, UK-based international financial services customer that will use nGenius to improve proactive control over network and applications performance. In addition, nGenius will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its IT team by centralizing and simplifying the management of its large, complex, global network.
