Neelam Dhawan appointed Microsoft India MD

MUMBAI:Microsoft Corporation today appointed Neelam Dhawan as India Managing Director with responsibility for leading sales and marketing operations in India.
She will be responsible for Microsoft's growing products and services businesses and will also help the company forge partnership and strategic alliances.
With over 22 years of experience in the IT sector, Neelam previously worked with Hewlett Packard India as vice president (customer solutions group). She has also worked for HCL Technologies and IBM before joining Hewlett Packard in 1999.
"Dhawan is very highly respected in the industry and has an excellent track record of managing customer and partner relationships," said Ravi Venkatesan, chairman of Microsoft India.
