NVIDIA opens Pune center

BANGALORE: NVIDIA Corporation, the maker of programmable graphics processor technologies, has opened its design center in Pune. The new facility marks NVIDIA's continuing expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. "The expansion of our R&D operations in India is based on our belief in the country's outstanding engineering talent and ability to create innovative technology," said Jen-Hsun Huang, Co-Founder, President and CEO, NVIDIA Corporation. "India is highly strategic to NVIDIA and we are delighted to become a member of the Pune community." The Pune facility will be equipped as a state-of-the-art data center allowing the design of technologies for a wide range of products and platforms.
