NIIT unit bags U.S. award

NEW DELHI: The GIS division of NIIT TechnologiesÂ’ has been conferred the high achievement award for Asia Pacific by ESRI Inc. U.S. The award recognizes ESRI India's commitment to customers and achieving record growth. "ESRI India customers have begun to experience the significant advantage that GIS brings to government, business and society. The award encourages us to further strengthen our relationships with them to ensure that the benefits of GIS touch an average Indian," ESRI India President Rajesh Mathur said. JV between ESRI Inc and NIIT Technologies, ESRI India has bagged the award twice earlier. Survey of India, one of the clients of ESRI India also bagged the special achievement award for successfully adopting and implementing GIS from ESRI Inc U.S.
