NDTV public offer raises Rs 1.1 billion

MUMBAI: India's leading news broadcaster New Delhi Television Ltd (NDTV) has raised Rs 1.1 billion through its recently concluded initial public offering (IPO), a banker told a news agency. "The shares were allotted at Rs 70 each," said the banker. The issue was subscribed 36 times, and was offered in the price band of Rs 63-70. The banker said NDTV shares are likely to be listed around mid-May.
