NASSCOM-DSCI Annual Information Security Summit 2011

New Delhi: Data Security Council of India, a NASSCOM® initiative,  announced that Shri Shiv Shankar Menon, National Security Advisor, Government of India will inaugurate the 6th NASSCOM – DSCI Annual Information Security Summit in New Delhi on December 6 -7 at the Hotel Grand. The Summit is one of biggest annual events on data security and witnesses large participation from government, industry, solution providers and user community, from India and abroad.

As always, the 6th NASSCOM-DSCI Annual Information Security Summit will address the current security challenges against the backdrop of the recent high profile attacks. It will provide a pioneering platform for establishing the significance of security within national and organizational ecosystem where the providers of solutions, users of solutions, and the thought leaders and regulators come together to contribute to the future of data security.

Supported by over 20 organizations, the Delhi Summit 2011 features leading authorities on Cyber Security & National Security, Mobility & Extended Organization, Data Centric Security, Cloud Computing, and Business Perspective of Security, as they engage in panel discussions and Round Table Conferences. To highlight the scheme of the things to come, the summit has Exhibition Pavilion, Product Launches, Technical Training and Technology Demonstrations. It will also facilitate the winner of the DSCI Cyber Cop 2011 Award winner and provide a platform to the winners of DSCI Excellence Award 2011 to present their best practices.

On the sidelines of the Summit and for the first time in India, DSCI and (ISC)2  is organizing the Information Systems Security Architecture Workshop  (Advanced level). The Workshop will focus on consultative & analytical process of development, design & analysis of an overall security program using case studies & practical exercises.
