Myntra partners with Printo to tap gifting market

Bangalore: Myntra.com, a platform for personalized products and gifts and Printo, a provider of printing solutions, have announced that both companies are entering into a segment redefining partnership. The partnership would allow Printo to offer significantly enhanced product catalog courtesy Myntra.com's growing range of customized designs and gifting solutions, to its corporate and retail customers. For Myntra, it will now be able to offer high end personalization products such as calendars, posters, photo-book and diaries. The entire Myntra product catalogue will be available across all Printo outlets and Printo will make the catalogue as part of its offering bouquet to both corporate and retail customers. Myntra will sell through its platform the high end customized products that Printo has besides allowing Printo to access the designs created by its growing online network of designers. According to company estimates, corporate gifting market in India is estimated to be over 5000 crores and the total market for personalized products is over 10000 crores not to mention the printing solutions market which is even larger. This strategic partnership is expected to generate joint revenue of over Rs 100 crore in over 3 years for both organizations. According to Manish Sharma, Co-founder and CEO, Printo, "The time is ripe and right for such a partnership. Such a partnership was bound to happen the synergies between both firms are quite high and we look forward to expanding not just our individual firm's revenues but of the overall space as well."
