Mphasis CEO resigns

Bangalore: MphasiS announced Jeya Kumar, CEO, has resigned, to pursue external career opportunities. Jeya Kumar, was CEO from February 2008 and will continue as CEO and on the Board of Directors till a new appointment is announced. "Jeya Kumar's tenure at MphasiS has been brief but eventful. With his vision and guidance, he steered us through 2008 and has delivered spectacular results. We have built a very strong executive team that will help continue the momentum that we have started. We thank Jeya for his contributions and wish him the best of luck." Said Michael Coomer, Chairman MphasiS and Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific & Japan Global Financial Services Industry EDS. Prior to MphasiS, Jeya was with Sun Microsystems where his last assignment was that of Senior Vice- President - Services Group and a member of Sun's Executive Management Group.
