MphasiS opens new call center in Vadodara

Vadodara: Bharti Airtel, one of the leading telecom operators in India along with their partner MphasiS, an EDS, HP company has announced the opening of its new call center located at Spencer Mall, Genda Circle, Vadodara. This is the first of its kind initiative with state-of-art facilities aimed at delivering enhanced service experience to a population of more than one million customers in Central Gujarat. This new call center will be equipped with 400 seats, and grow to 800 seats and have 2500 people within the next12 months. The agents have been specially trained in linguistic, soft skills and call handling techniques to deliver unparalleled experience to the customers. This will be an extension of the call centre in Ahmedabad. "The opening of our Vadodara center is in keeping with our strategy to grow beyond the metro cities and tap local talent here. Initially we will leverage this center to service the rapidly developing Indian market, providing services to domestic clients," said Milind Godbole, CDO, MphasiS, BPO. Sharlin Thayil, COO, Bharti Airtel, Gujarat Circle said, "The new MphasiS centre will take care of the rapidly growing customer base for Airtel in Gujarat. The staff has been well trained on the various Airtel processes with the expertise of MphasiS so that they deliver a standard, consistent and delightful call centre for our customers."
