Motorola, SMS Associates enter marketing tie-up

NEW DELHI: Motorola on Monday announced its agreement with SMS Associates Pvt Ltd to promote and market its manufacturing software products across the country.
Under the arrangement, SMS would promote Motorola's Manufacturing Puise product suite, an execution and monitoring tool designed to improve all aspects of production efficiency for the electronics manufacturing industry.
"With the maturing of the electronics manufacturing services (EMS) activities in India and the expected establishment of several additional Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing lines in India, we are excited about our agreement with Motorola," SMS managing director, Dr Anand Sethi said in a release.
