Cynthia Carroll
Cynthia Carroll is the CEO of Anglo American that is world's largest platinum producer. She joined the company board on January 2007 and became the CEO by March same year. She is the only one of three female CEO of FTSE 100 companies and the first non-South African to hold the post with the company. Carroll previously worked with the Canada-based Alcan as President and CEO of the Primary Metal Group. She was nicknamed as "Cyanide Cynthia, world's biggest Scrooge" for her role in the Pebble Mine project in Alaska by a magazine.
