This man doesn’t need any introduction. Having been come from a business background, Anil Ambani is recognized not just in India but worldwide as a powerful CEO. Since the Reliance Empire has been divided between Mukesh and Anil Ambani, Anil particularly owns Reliance Communications, Reliance Capital, Reliance Energy and Reliance Natural Resources.

The company’s annual revenue is more than U.S. $5.2 billion as of 2012.

7. Sunil Mittal
Company: Bharti Enterprises

Sunil Mittal is the founder and chairman of Bharti enterprises. Back in 1976, when Mittal was an 18 years old boy, he took 20,000 from his father to start his first business where he made crankshafts and sold it to bicycle manufacturers.

After growing as a successful businessman his attention was later diverted to the telecom business in India. Later he made an effort to pitch this idea to the government of India and got approval for his plans in 1994 to launch telecom services in India under the brand name AirTel.
