Hindu Vs TOI
A head to head clash of commercials of the country's most prominent media houses – The Hindu and The Times of India- were considered unhealthy by many. The controversial TV and Print ads for their Chennai editions took a dig at each other. While TOI’s commercial said the Hindu was putting people to sleep, the Hindu's ad suggested that TOI readers were a vapid lot and ignorant. The print ad from Hindu mocked TOI's 'Page 3'.
