WASHINGTON: Job prospects in India are expected to be strong in early 2006, but weak for most of Europe, according to a survey. The survey by U.S. based Manpower; an employment consulting and recruitment group said that while hiring in India remained strong, European countries such as Germany, Austria and Italy would witness a negative situation during the next quarter. Sweden and France will see their weakest hiring outlook since the third quarter of 2003, it said. "Indian employers continue their solid hiring pace, albeit at a considerably reduced rate from the previous quarter, and employers will increase hiring activity slightly from the fourth quarter of 2005," the survey said. "Hiring expectations in India continue to be strongest in the finance, insurance, real estate and services sectors," said Jeffrey Joerres, Chairman and CEO of Manpower Inc.
