Bangalore: On the Independence Day, the cyber crime cell of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) will have a mobile cyber laboratory. The 30 lakh laboratory would minimize the response time and now the CID has a cyber crime lab within its premises. "The laboratory requisitioned by the special investigation wing of the police , would deliver speedy justice to cyber crime victims," said DV Guruprasad, Director General of Police (CID). The laboratory would travel across the state to help out investigations carried out by cyber crime experts. "We have two inspectors exclusively trained under a private organization from the U.S. which had undertaken a lot of research for the purpose along with us. These officers will be charge of the mobile laboratory," said Guruprasad. The lab will provide the officers some important inputs to crack cases.
