Mobile Monday to host MoMo Monsoon

Bangalore: To stir up interest and enthusiasm of all stakeholders in the Mobile VAS ecosystem, Mobile Monday aims to create a splash pool of issues, ideas, challenges and opportunities by hosting MoMo Monsoon on August 30 at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore' (IIMB) The event is planned with three keynote speeches and four panel discussions, with industry leaders and veterans from OnMobile Global , Forum Nokia, Google, July Systems, Yahoo, Helion Ventures and Sasken Communication Technologies amongst others, participating in discussions on Micro Finance & Mobile Payments, Mobile Marketing & Mobile Advertising, Telecom Platform Opportunities and Mobile Web. Mobile Monday is a 'not for profit organization (trust)', which comprise of a global community of wireless industry professionals aims to promote the wireless industry. The Bangalore chapter of Mobile Monday started its activities in June 2006 and is the first Mobile Monday chapter in India. It fosters cooperation and networking among interest groups, industry and their companies by providing the logistics and opportunities for personal and virtual contacts. Being an open community organization, Mobile Monday Bangalore relies on forward looking companies to support its operations. OnMobile Global and Forum Nokia are the annual sponsors of Mobile Monday Bangalore. MoMo Monsoon also brings along the dynamic participation from mCHEK, EKO Financials, Mobisy, Classifeye, Ekgaon, RangDe.org, AdMob, mKHOJ, TeliBrahma, MyDunia Networks, TringMe, Tonse Telecom to name a few. The event is free but prior registration (first come first served basis) is mandatory. More than 300 people are expected to attend this MoMo event.
