Microsoft says security flaw in OS

SAN FRANCISCO: The worldÂ’s biggest software maker Microsoft Corp. has warned the users of its operating system of a "critical" security flaw in its software that could allow hackers to take complete control of a computer. It has asked users to fix the problem by installing a patch that can be downloaded. The company said problem mainly affects the Windows operating system and Microsoft's Internet Explorer Web browser. Microsoft has asked the users to download the patch from www.microsoft.com/security. Microsoft said the vulnerability exists in its Internet Explorer Web browser, which an attacker could exploit to take over a PC by running software code after luring users to malicious Web pages.
