Microsoft launches My Phone to save mobile data
Bangalore: Microsoft has announced its My Phone service that enables users to automatically backup contacts, photos, video, calendar, text messages and more from their phone to a password-protected Web-based service. It has automatic syncing and backup capabilities and easily restores them should the user lose or upgrade their phones. My Phone will be launched in 25 windows mobile languages. This service, which is available to windows mobile 6.0 or 6.1 phones, allows users to upload image from their windows phone to My Phone directly. My Phone also provides an easy to use Web portal where users can access and manage content on the phone, and share that information with others. To avail My Phone services, users can sign in with a Windows Live ID at www.myphone.microsoft.com Customers can download and install the My Phone application on the phone and activate it.
