New Delhi: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Thursday announced that its train services will start from 4 a.m. instead of 6 a.m. Nov 29, the polling day in the capital. "The trains will run with a frequency of 15 minutes on all the three lines till 6 a.m. after which trains will run their normal frequency throughout the day," said Anuj Dayal, DMRC's chief public relation officer. Polling will be held Saturday to elect a new state assembly, with 863 candidates from as many as 69 parties fighting it out. Voting will be held for 69 seats out of a total 70 seats and the votes will be counted Dec 8. A total of 10.7 million people, nearly 25 percent more than in 2003, are eligible to vote at over 11,000 polling booths. Over 1,500 booths have been declared 'sensitive' and 'hypersensitive' - a five-fold increase over the number in the last election.
