MetricStream to expand Bangalore facility

BANGALORE: MetricStream will expand its operations in Bangalore and invest $10 million over the next three years in developing its infrastructure, the company announced. Gaurav Kapoor, CFO, MetricStream said the company has set up a new 150 seat facility and will invest $10 million over the next three years in developing its infrastructure. The company has also shifted its global sales and marketing operations to Bangalore. ‘The Bangalore center will handle the entire key product and application development for its global customers,’ he said. Gaurav Kapoor also announced the hike in the head count of its staff. ‘We expect to double our head count in 2005 from the present 60 people. The new facility further strengthens our commitment to India and the importance of India center for MetricStream globally’.
