As I see, MeritTrac has positioned itself well and has successfully built itself as a leader in leveraging that new opportunity created by the phenomenal growth of these two sectors. I am happy to be on their Board of Directors at an exciting juncture of their evolution & growth.” Elaborating on the international expansion plans, Madan Padaki, Co-founder & Director, MeritTrac Services said,” The global expansion plan is a natural sequel to the growth witnessed by MeritTrac in the past few years in the Indian market and the dominant leadership position we have attained. Our initial international foray has clearly proven our capability to address overseas markets with minor fine-tunings to the existing model. We intend to build on the success of the Mauritius project and the US partnership by signing more partnerships in various geographical areas and undertaking more international projects.” Commenting on the entry into other verticals, Mohan Kannegal, Co-founder & Director, MeritTrac Services, said,” While IT and BPO are natural adopters of our offering and would continue to contribute significantly to our revenues, we needed to explore opportunities in other sectors which are now recognizing the need for such service offerings. This entry into other verticals also establishes our positioning as a Complete Assessment firm across different industry verticals. We expect to add on more clients in other verticals going forward ” Sharing the progress of MeritTrac’s SkillsTrac initiative, Murlidhar, Co-founder & Director, MeritTrac Services, said,” Since the middle of last year where we had announced the signing up of three State Governments under SkillsTrac, we had subsequently partnered with the Govt, of West Bengal in October last year. I am happy to announce today we have recently signed on the Government of Orissa as their assessment partner. In the coming months, we see further momentum by us signing more such state governments and also expanding the scope with existing partnerships. SkillsTrac’s success adds a new dimension to MeritTrac’s growth and positions us as a key player in India’s attempt to address the talent pool challenges posed by the growth of IT/BPO sectors.”
