Nitin Nohria: Nitin Nohria was named as the tenth dean of Harvard Business School for his immense contribution in the field of education. Prior to this Nohria served as co-chair of the Leadership Initiative, Senior Associate Dean of Faculty Development, and Head of the Organizational Behavior unit in HBS. Nohria received his Ph.D. in Management from the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, before joining as the HBS faculty in July 1988. Apart from being an academician, Nohria has co-authored 16 books. One of his most recent contributions are, Handbook of Leadership Theory and Practice-a book devoted to advance research on leadership, based on a discussion group he organized during HBS's centenary celebrations. He has also served as an advisor and consultant to several large and small companies in different parts of the world.
