Medicom bags $1.5 M Jordan contract

BANGALORE: Medicom, the flagship product of the Indian based Medicom Solutions (P) Limited has been selected to automate the King Abdullah University Hospital (KAUH) by the Jordan University of Science and Technology. The $1.5 million contract at KAUH involves delivery and installation of several Medicom Modules and interface to Industry Standard third party applications and products like Oracle Financials Suite, PACS, TeleMedicine systems and a wide range of laboratory analyzers. KAUH is built to provide state-of-the-art teaching and training facility for the university medical students as well as providing healthcare services to the residents of the surrounding governorates through a full range of Outpatient, Inpatient, Emergency Services and Advanced Specialties including obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, heart surgery and kidney dialysis. KAUH is a 7-storey building spread over a total area of 100,000 square meters with an adjoining 3-story building for outpatient services.
