Maxtor launches two new solutions

BANGALORE: Maxtor Corporation today announced the launch of two new solutions that build on its award-winning Maxtor OneTouch series-the Maxtor OneTouch II Small Business edition and the Maxtor OneTouch II, Fire Wire 800 edition.
Maxtor Branded Products Group Asia-Pacific (Sales and Marketing) Manager Craig Davis said that the Maxtor OneTouch II Small Business drive provided easy installation, automatic backups, quick restore features, remote notifications and simple storage management for small business windows servers.
He said the Maxtor OneTouch II, Fire Wire 800 edition was ideal for creative professionals, computer power users and digital content creators, and delivers up to 800 Mbit per second data transfer rates to quickly transfer and store high resolution graphics, digital audio video heavy multimedia file, photos and more.
''The two new products are reflective of the changing role and increasing importance of storage and backup in today's digital lifestyle,'' he added
