Maveric Systems opens security testing lab in Chennai

Chennai: In an effort to expand its presence in Chennai, Maveric Systems, a provider of software testing solutions and services, has launched a security testing lab in Chennai. The launch happens with the 10th anniversary of the company, which recently moved into a new research facility at IIT Chennai Research Park. The company expects to generate revenue of around $2 million over the next three years from Security Testing & Consulting services from clients in the regions of EMEA and APAC. Under this new facility, Maveric will offer Application Security Testing, Vulnerability assessment and Penetration Testing, Network Security, ISO 27001, BCP/DR and PCI DSS Consulting. This will enable Maveric's clients secure their customer interaction channels protect data confidentiality and risk management. Over the next year, around 12 to 15 projects are expected to be handled by Maveric, covering technical security assessments and compliance related needs of clients. Commenting on the launch of this new initiative, Ramesh R., Head of Security Testing, Maveric Systems, said, "Organizations today, are realizing the growing need to adequately secure the new technologies they invest in, to protect the interests of their customers and the stakeholders."
