Mastek commences BPO operations

Mastek Ltd has said that it is commencing the BPO business. At the Board Meeting held on Wednesday, it has been decided to operate the BPO through Mastek BPO Private Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary Company in India.
MUMBAI: The company would have an authorized share capital of Rs 10 crore (US $ 2.1 million). Masteks new facility for its BPO operations would be based at Thane in Mumbai.
V Srinivasan is the advisor for the BPO operations, he will be responsible for setting up operational facilities and growing the new line of business. A team of senior managers from the field has been appointed to oversee the BPO operations.
