Mastek bags contract from Syntegra for 27 mn

MUMBAI: Mastek Ltd has been awarded a 10-year contract by Syntegra, BT's system integration arm, for an initial sum of ?27 million as part of the national programme for IT within the UK's National Health Service. As part of this programme, prime-contracted by BT, Mastek would be responsible for the development and support of data integrity, terminology, reporting services and electronic transmission of prescriptions, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange on Tuesday.
