Manugistics opens center in India

BANGALORE:Manugistics Group, Inc. a provider of synchronized supply chain and revenue management solutions, today opened its product development center in India and said it would hire about 200 product and software development professionals for the company’s advanced development activities. Working together with Manugistics’ core Development teams in the United States, the new Manugistics India product development center located in Hyderabad, will be responsible for the continuing development of high-level software solutions supporting the consumer goods (CG), retail, government and revenue management (Travel, Transportation & Hospitality/TTH) Industries. Manugistics delivers best-of-breed solutions to more than 1,200 clients comprised of Fortune 1,000 companies around the globe. “Our Hyderabad Development Center is a strategic imperative for Manugistics,” said Jeffrey L. Kissling, Manugistics chief technological officer. “The professionals we hire will be involved in the development of the company’s future products and solutions roadmap.
