MakeMyTrip launches online campaign against workaholism

Bangalore: MakeMyTrip, a provider of travel holidays company, has started a movement against the culture of absolute workaholism. The campaign stated as "Offisial Atyachaar" is a movement comprising of people who sign up to join it.
A micro-site has been launched where campaign followers can log on, share their thoughts and interact with fellow-members. The campaign also has an anthem, along with merchandizes and downloads. The campaign is started behind the motive to communicate the need to maintain a healthy work-life balance to the corporates. Through this, the company wants to make a behavioral change of integrating healthy de-stresses like exercising and travelling.
"The campaign is our way of promoting weekend breaks by addressing a larger and relevant concern. The kind of lifestyles corporate citizens lead is undeniably stressful and can contribute to health-risks in the long run. Also we are closely allied with travel and firmly believe it to be one of the best stress-busting activities. We are therefore encouraging consumers to strike a better balance between work and personal life by taking more weekend breaks to refresh and rejuvenate," said Mohit Gupta, Chief Marketing Officer, MakeMyTrip.
Through the site, users can anthem, buy merchandise, download ringtones, SMS jokes and share these with friends and colleagues. The site also has interactive contests and fun games.
