Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh government has launched a website to seek ideas from the common people and use them in framing policies to speed up development in the state. "Let all, be they the youth, women or the senior citizens, send their ideas on how the pace of progress can hasten and our people enjoy a quality life," an appeal by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan posted on the website said. The website ideaforcm.in was launched Monday to enable people to offer to the chief minister their suggestions on various issues. "I have an unflinching faith in the innate wisdom of my people. The voice of their thoughts must not only be heard but also given a fair chance of being realised," Chouhan said during the launch. He said the mails received will be processed in about two week's time. Also, the sender will be given an idea reference number and a password to monitor the status of his mail. The ideas received would be examined by a committee, and if found feasible these would be implemented. The sender will be informed about the actions taken. Also, the sender whose idea is selected for implementation, would be honoured by the chief minister. Chouhan said the website would enable him to reach out to those whom he may not have met personally. "Madhya Pradesh Governor Balram Jakhar in his maiden address to the 13th Vidhan Sabha early this month announced about such a website so that people can offer their suggestions and ideas to the chief minister for framing policies for the development of the state. The Chief Minister has followed it up within no time," an official source said.
