MSN appoints five marketing people

BANGALORE: MSN, the online services devision of Microsoft Corp., announced five new appointments. Realizing a tremendous growth in the Asia Pacific region resulting in an expanding cutomer base, MSn made its largest ever increase in trade marketing headcount in Asia. Gina Hertel, Regional Director of Marketing for Asia Pacific, Greater China, and Japan said, “The investment in our trade marketing team demonstrates MSN’s continued commitment to delivering the highest level of service and support to our customers. We are thrilled that all our recent appointments reflect a continued strengthening of the wealth of experience and expertise that MSN customers have come to expect.” Celian Fan takes charge as the Regional Media Analyst of Greater Asia. She will be responsible for the research studies in the Asia Pacific region to provide essential and updated information on audience, usage data and market segmentation to the advertising sales team. Azam Sukandar joins her in Greater Asia as the Regional Trade PR Manager and will be focusing on enhancing the company's pan-regional trade PR. Vineet Gupta joins MSN as the Trade Marketing Manager for MSN India. he will be responsible for developing MSN's focus in India. Johnny Wang joins him as a compatriot in China to integrate marketing communications and strategic marketing initiatives to engage media agencies and advertisers. Amelia Zaina takes the Trade Marketing Manager position in ninemsn Australia and holds the responsibility to support the sales team in enhancing customer and agencies relationships. She is also responsible for the growth of ninemsn's trade marketing activities for the market there.
