BANGALORE: Logitech the world leader in mice and keyboards today announced their strategy to drive the optical devices revolution in India. As part of the two-pronged strategy, · Logitech announced their new ‘Go Optical” Exchange offer program launched today across India. · Launch of a slew of black products including mice and keyboards. The company believes that these steps will upgrade the ball mouse market in India to Optical mouse at very affordable prices to the consumers. To continue the trend of being pioneer in the peripheral industry, Logitech is launching the ‘Go Optical Exchange’ program across India. The first objective of this program is to educate the Indian consumers on the various advantages of Optical technology over ball mouse technology. The second objective is, then, to upgrade the consumer from ball mouse to Optical mouse. End users can bring in their any old mouse & take new Logitech Optical mouse for as low as 465/- (plus Octroi) The target segments for this nation-wide program are the end-users fed up of their ball mouse and seeking a change, in terms of better technology. This program will be on for a period of one month, from 1st June to 30th June 2004. Users can bring old mouse (any make) and get Logitech Optical mouse for as low as 465/- (plus Octroi). This offer is valid on selected models of Optical mouse and on MRP only.
