LogicaCMG bags telecom deal

BANGALORE: LogicaCMG announced that it has won a contract from PT Natrindo Telepon Seluler, a 3G and GSM1800 operator in Indonesia, to provide telecom products and solutions to enhance mobile data and charging services of NTS' mobile networks.
The four-year contract deal requires designing, building and operating the Service Platform Network (SPN) as well as IT and Business Support Systems (BSS). LogicaCMG will also deliver Program Management, System Integration and Managed Services.
According to the company statement, The SPN will enable NTS mobile networks to offer superior messaging, browsing and content downloading capabilities. The IT and BSS components will provide interconnect settlement, rating, mediation, provisioning, service management and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) capabilities.
The SPN portfolio includes LogicaCMG's IP-based Next Generation Managing architecture and prepaid charging solution comprising Short Messaging Service Center (SMSC), Multimedia Messaging Service Center (MMSCC), Wireless Service Broker (WSB) and Pre-Delivery Service Agent (PSA).
